Key Highlights of the Grand Wok Experience
What sets Grand Wok Noodle Bar apart in the competitive Las Vegas dining scene? It is a combination of dedication to craft, ingredient sourcing, and an unwavering focus on the guest experience. We pride ourselves on delivering consistency and quality that honors the traditions we represent.
Mastery of the Broth: The foundation of any exceptional noodle dish is its broth. At Grand Wok, our broths are simmered for extended periods, often utilizing complex combinations of bones, aromatics, and spices. This slow infusion process ensures a depth of flavor that cannot be rushed, resulting in rich, savory liquids that coat the noodles perfectly and define the character of each bowl. This dedication to the base liquid is non-negotiable.
Noodle Versatility and Freshness: We understand that texture is paramount. Our menu features a diverse selection of noodle types—from thin, delicate strands to thick, chewy varieties—each specifically chosen to complement the accompanying ingredients and broth profile. Many of our noodles are prepared fresh daily, ensuring the optimal bite and absorption qualities that elevate the entire dish.
Commitment to Authentic Ingredients: While operating in a global city, our sourcing strategy prioritizes authenticity. We strive to use high-quality proteins, fresh, seasonal vegetables, and traditional seasonings that faithfully represent the regional cuisines we draw inspiration from. This commitment ensures that the flavors experienced are genuine and evocative of their origins.
A Welcoming, Accessible Setting: Located conveniently on the South Las Vegas Boulevard, Grand Wok offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere suitable for a quick, satisfying lunch or a relaxed evening meal. It serves as an accessible haven where the focus remains on the quality of the food served, providing excellent value without compromising on culinary integrity.
Savoring the Moment at 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd
The journey through the menu at Grand Wok Noodle Bar is designed to be both familiar and exploratory. Whether you are drawn to the comforting embrace of a classic beef noodle soup or eager to try a more adventurous, spicy creation, there is a bowl waiting to satisfy your craving. Our team is passionate about sharing these culinary traditions. They are knowledgeable guides ready to assist you in navigating the menu, explaining the nuances between different regional styles, and ensuring your preferences regarding spice level and ingredient combinations are perfectly met. Customer satisfaction is intrinsically linked to the quality of the dish served.

The food was not hot enough - perhaps they pre-cooked too early and served without reheating. The wonton noodles weren't great. Their service was good, though. More

Okay, our last night in Vegas we hit up this restaurant. We had the traditional pad Thai. Hot and sour soup. And chow fun noodles. Everything in Vegas is a little pricey these days. But we enjoyed what we had. Would definitely go back. More

I wasn’t expecting much especially since it’s a restaurant inside a Strip casino, but I was pleasantly surprised! The beef chow fun is pretty authentic HK style, though they could have added more beef. The string beans were barely spicy, but decent enough and a good complement to the noodles. Just don’t expect actual Sichuan style string beans. The server, Mark, is very attentive and friendly. Service is definitely 5 stars!

This place is strictly for tourists as they won’t go back and won’t even remember the name. The wonton noodle soup is full of baking soda, the bbq pork is simply a mixture of soy sauce with sugar. They focus more on ripping off visitors.

We found the food excellent. My party ordered Sweet n Sour Chicken, Orange chicken, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Everything came out crispy and hot. It tasted fine. Service was efficient. The only complaint was how loud it was. We couldn't really talk. More

The service was amazing and the interior design is cool with a view into the kitchen. However the food is nothing to write home about. Moreso a convenient place to eat if youre hungry and nearby vs a place worth traveling to. More

The food we got was fresh and very good. (Hot and sour soup, 1 chicken lo mein and 1 vegetable lo mein, side of white rice)
Location is convenient especially if you are staying at the MGM Grand hotel. The wait time for a table was approximately 30 minutes without reservation; so instead of waiting we ordered "to go" food from their application which was ready in 10-15 minutes! In our experience, the staff was always nice and the restaurant looked clean and pretty although we never ate inside the restaurant.

This is a basic Asian restaurant serving Asian, Chinese and Cantonese dishes. It is located in side the MGM Grand hotel on the casino level (where all restaurants are located), close to one of the breakfast buffet restaurants, and next to the Greek Sneek and Crush restaurants. The ambience is very basic, and the restaurant is pretty loud (as all of MGM). The service is fast, so there is a pretty good turnover of seats. You can dine at a table or at the bar looking into the kitchen.
The staff is Las Vegas friendly, so don‘t have too high expectations. We were served promptly and professionally, but also in a rather industrial way.
The menu is extensive, with a good selection of options. We tried several dishes, and found the spicy orange chicken very good. The duck was less appetizing and we don‘t recommend it. Other dishes, like the spicy cucumber salad, or the pepper tofu were good but unspectacular, which probably also can be expected in a restaurant like this in the MGM Hotel. Nonetheless we can recommend the Grand Wok Noodle Bar if you want a simple Asian dish that is of okay quality.

Atmosphere was ok, however you are in a casino so expectations are only so high.
Food was generally good, the duck being the best dish, a 5/5 and desserts were also top notch.
Soups and rice dishes were good, however I would rank those 3.5 / 5. Filling and hits the spots, but nothing special.
Decent meal however if you’re not used to Vegas prices you may feel you are overpaying for what you get.

I've got food poisoning after eating at this venue. The Hongkong style beef and noodles dish was way too greasy. The wonton soup was bland. The mango with sticky rice without any real mango. Conveniently located. Nice decorations. Some staffs were quite attentive and friendly. Overall, I am quite disappointed with my experience. More

Grand Wok is an average Chinese restaurant. Foodwise, it's not bad but not revolutionary. The prices were fair. If you're interested in rice, I'd suggest the Combination Fried Rice rather than the Tiger Shrimp Fried Rice. The highlight of the meal was the calamari. It was great and if you add the crumbs onto your rice, it's great! The orange chicken has a more subtle taste. It doesn't taste like fake orange which is great.
Overall it was good. We'll definitely come back next time we're back at the MGM Grand.

Pros: friendly and accommodating staff.
Ok: Vegetarian spring rolls are good. They're what you'd expect and nothing more. The atmosphere is pedestrian.
Cons: pad thai is bland. I ordered with shrimp based on a servers recommendation. Id be worried to try anything else if this basic dish was their best shot

Atmosphere is nice, but the food is extremely bland! Tried the mapo tofu, Thai beef fried rice, Singapore curry noodles, salt and pepper calamari. It’s clear who they’re trying to please with their ridiculously under flavored food, Asians must avoid this place.
